Meet Zeus The World’s Tallest Dog

According to the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records, Zeus is now the tallest dog in the world, taking the title from previous holder Giant George.

Zeus, the 3-year-old Great Dane, is owned by Denise Doorlag and her family, of Otsego, Michigan, USA. He measures 44 inches tall and weighs 155 lbs.

    Zeus should not be fed on the floor. He is too tall. Feed him with a raised feeder. Be very careful of bloat. I lost a Dane at 7 mos. to bloat. Feed small meals 3 times a day.

    I agree. You can count his vertebrae along his spine in the top photo, as well as his ribs. If he doesn’t have an underlying disorder, he’s not getting enough to eat.
