How very curious!
Awww……she’s just a little bit spoiled! lol I don’t blame him, though. She’s a cutie!
She’s a real cutie! I’m guessing she needs to touch him, for his reassurance, due to speed/movement of the car. My rat terrier needs to be in contact with me when we go for a ride as well…
Unfortunately, this is not cute! It is dominate insecure behavior which will only get worse with time and escalate into other areas with possible aggression problems. The insecure behavior was already starting to escalate in the video.
The owner needs to be more assertive. Start with putting the dog in the back seat which is safer and not allow this dominate behavior. Dog is a follower. Be the leader and give it the security the dog is asking for. Don’t wait for it to become a problem. If nothing is addressed, don’t scratch your head and say “What happened”? It is the owner’s responsibility to be a proper leader to have a happy and balanced dog. Do the research. This is a Northern breed which can be very stubborn and requires a strong leader. Remember, this is a dog, not a human. The worst thing we can do as owner’s is to humanize our dogs.
