Stray Dogs Save Family From Flood

As floodwaters swept through Iligan City in the Philippines, a family was saved by two heroic stray dogs.

Marrietta Ardiente and her family were asleep in their home during the height of tropical storm Sendong, when they heard 2 dogs barking and scratching at their door.

When she got up from bed, she saw that the floodwaters were beginning to rise.

Ardiente and her family evacuated their home safely and are now taking temporary shelter at an evacuation center. Their home was completely destroyed by the raging floodwaters.

They have brought the 2 stray dogs with them to the evacuation center and Ardiente named them Loloy and Jackie.
