For The Love Of Dolly

Meet Miss Dolly… she is (was – passed away a few weeks after this camping trip) absolutely loved people and visiting, but her health wouldn’t let her walk the campground, so with a garage sale find & a $2.00 strap, we made this final trip with her memorable. She was the talk of the campground and had such a wonderful time meeting EVERYONE, especially the children. Our ‘kids’ are fosters, with Miss Dolly coming to us with thyroid & asthma issues; plus being deaf. We knew going in she wouldn’t be with us long given her health (vet said 2-3 months tops), but with lots of love, special diet & being spoiled rotten – we were able to give her an extra ordinary 17 months & our lives will forever be better. Miss Dolly will forever live on in our hearts and our memories. We love you little girl !

Your story touched my heart. We had a feral dog ,so old and lost, stop by our house one day. And he stayed for 8 months and then he was gone. Where?? But he touched our hearts so deeply that we will always remember him and miss him. He was never really ours, but we were his.
