Kirby is a 2 year old French Bulldog. He was recently diagnosed with having a large mass in his ear canal, which has caused his ear to be very infected and painful. Ultimately he will need the mass removed from his ear, and may even need to have his entire ear canal removed, depending on how much damage there is. The surgeon will need to do a CAT scan to see how large the tumor is, and if it effects his inner ear.
Kirby is a very important part of my life, and I would be lost without him. It has been a rough year for us both.
If I cannot raise enough money for Kirby’s surgery, then I will have to relinquish him to a rescue, which I really do not want to do. A rescue would be able to pay for the surgery, but they pay for surgeries on their rescues by donations as well, and Kirby will be uprooted from the only home and people he has ever known, as well as his other dog siblings whom he knows and loves.
The surgery is estimated to cost around $2600, which I just cannot afford. So I have set up a ChipIn to raise some money to cover Kirby’s treatment. Thank you so much to those who donate for Kirby’s surgery, every little bit helps. To read more about Kirby or to chip in http://helpkirby.chipin.com/kirby-the-french-bulldog
