Tribute to Simba

RIP Simba

This is my black German Shepherd puppy, Simba. At the time the picture was taken, he was only two months old, and had just come into our family. The immense impact he made on my life is indescribable, and our bond is beyond words.
Two weeks ago, Simba was almost 8 months old and had hip dysplasia, and needed surgery. One week later, he came home, but unfortunately, he had gotten parvovirus from the vet. We took him back for treatment, but three days later, he passed away.
That was two days ago, and even today, I still can not accept the fact that he’s gone. I cry all the time for his death, but also for all the time we got to spend together. To tell the truth, I will always think Simba left too early, and I’m jealous of those who still have their best friends.
I’ll never forget him. It’s impossible to.
