This was my baby, Scooter, when we first got him. We didn’t know, but he was suffering from a liver shunt. It happens when puppies come from a mill or are inbred, something we were told he wasn’t. Unfortunately the “breeder” wasn’t sympathetic to this and offered to take the dog back (and probably do nothing about it), but we couldn’t give him up, obviously. Scooter is 2 years old now and the best dog a family could ask for. But a warning for anyone looking to buy a dog, PLEASE do your research.
