Roscoe, my 4 year old border collie. He’s been through a lot. Before I adopted him from the rescue organization he had sustained injuries that weren’t discovered until I took him to work (at an emergency veterinary office) and we took survey radiographs. There, it became obvious he had suffered severe trauma to his pelvis (he completely reformed the joint where his right femur head meets the pelvis) and he’d also been shot. To watch him walk is to appreciate nature and wonder at how he survived on his own while his body was healing.
